JC Lodge returns to Jamaica! Show at Redbones 28th August 2008 22/08/08

JC will be appearing live at the Redbones, New Kingston, on Thurs 28th August, backed by a hand-picked band. The show is entitled 'TAKE 2' and will be her second appearance at the intimate live music venue. Also appearing is Gia Re, her 14 year old daughter who has begun making waves of her own. While in JA, JC will be in studio with localproducers and making arrangements for release of her long-awaited 'Passionfruit' album. JC returns to the dancehall! 05/8/06

 One year later than planned (but well worth the wait), JC is putting finishing touches to her innovative return to dance-oriented reggae. Tentatively entitled "passionfruit" the project is part of the reggaenova concept to blend the best of traditional reggae with the current dancehall focused sound, and a flavouring of exotic influences from Brazil and the East.

JC will be back in what is almost her homebase, the New York area, around the pre-Christmas season at a major reggae festival promoted by the Link-Up promotion and radio organisation. Westchester Reggae Festival...

JC will be making a special appearance at a music festival in Oviedo, Northern Spain, this September. Backed by the UK based Ruff Cut Band the late Summer Festival will see performances from a number of international acts. JC will showcase her best known european releases plus preview tracks from the upcoming album.
